Changes and Nanowrimo

As I announced in my last post, I was setting up a new series for Camp Nanowrimo. I started writing it out and in the middle of the month, found that Kindle is putting out a new way to publish stories. It's called Vella, and it will be a serialized way of reading stories. This actually fits in better with what I'm working on than the books, so I'm super excited for this. So, instead of putting out a 4 book series, I'm going to be putting these out as a serialized story. The way I envisioned the story definitely works out better this way. Here is the preview of my story.

While I did complete Camp Nanowrimo, I did have to shorten my goal from 50,000 to 35,000 due to family health issues. I did manage over 35,000 words, so I'm thankful for that. I'm still working on the story, of course, since it's going to be (hopefully) a long running story. I also have ideas for other serialized stories as well. We'll see how those work out!
