Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy almost Thanksgiving! I hope everyone is ready for the big day! I *think* I am. I bought the food last week, but I'll be doing any last minute shopping tomorrow. The next day, I will be cooking all day long, but for some reason, I love it. Normally, we have family over, but we're no longer living near them, and while I'd love to join my friends for Thanksgiving, due to the virus, it's just going to be me, my husband, and my son.

I've also been working on Nanowrimo this month. I've been doing fairly well, and I think I'll be finishing in time. I try to do Nanowrimo and Camp Nano, but some years, it just doesn't work for me. For those who don't know what Nanowrimo is, it's National Novel Writing Month. The goal is to write 50,000 words in 30 days. It's an average of 1,667 words per day, which isn't much if you've got a good idea and the words are flowing. BUT, if the words don't want to come (like last night), then it's a bit of a struggle. Still, it's a fun challenge, so I attempt it often.

In addition to working on the Nano challenge, I'm still working on the next book, but that is going slower than I wanted. I will be able to devote all of my time on it next month, once Nano is over, so I'm hoping to have it out either by Christmas or the first of the year. Wish me luck!
